On November 24, 2024, the first ever Afro-Women Salon was held at Tsinghua University, organized by the Tsinghua University African Students Association (THUASA). The theme of the Salon was “A Wake-Up Call: Awaken Your Potential, Embrace Your Power, Shape Your World." The event featured Ms. Aisha Moffett, Ms. Dinkenesh Li, Ms. Larissa Kennedy, and Ms. Tabitha Chakanza along with other prominent women from both within and outside Tsinghua University. The Salon was full of rich experiences shared by the featured guests and insightful discussions with the audience.

On the evening of Saturday, March 1st, 2025, the Tsinghua University African Students Association (THUASA) hosted an unforgettable event, the 2025 THUASA Reunion, under the theme “Uniting and Celebrating Africans and the Black Community with a Touch of African Flavors.” The event took place at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University, in Beijing, China.

On May 25, 2025, the Tsinghua University African Students Association (THUASA) proudly hosted the 2025 Africa Day Celebration event at the prestigious Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University. The event was held under the theme, “AI in Governance: Enhancing Public Services and Transparency in African Countries.” The gathering brought together distinguished scholars, professionals, students, and experts from across Africa and beyond to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence in governance, with a particular focus on its potential to improve public services, efficiency, and transparency across African nations. The event was also enhanced by captivating musical and cultural performances from talented Tsinghua students, as well as students from across Beijing. Over 100 participants attended the event in person, making it a truly memorable occasion.
